Historical dress throughout the centuries, as well as costumes for stage and screen had been a fascination of mine since my pre/early teens. Driving me to rummage through material and sheeting at local op-shops to use as fabric for creating petticoats, corsets and day dresses for my imaginary period drama, where, of course, I was the main character.At the age of fifteen, I created the first custom wedding dress for a Bride willing to trust me with such a commission.Cutting on the floor of my parent’s living room, having trained as an apprentice under a local bridal couturier for a handful of years, I continued making and altering gowns. Growing in skill and love for this craft.Now, over ten years on, I have my own studio space where I create beautiful gowns for beautiful people and I am so thrilled to be doing soI can’t wait to play my small part of your Happily Ever After
