consult & design
This is where the fun begins! During this first consult, ‘the world is our oyster’. We chat over aspects of designs you’ve fallen in love with, are inspired by on Pinterest, or styles you simply enjoy wearing. I compiling these together, keeping in mind your wedding day, location and time of year. We chat all things FABRIC, LACE and COLOUR! Then we get to sketching. Bringing to life your the vision in your mind’s eye onto paper…From there I’m able to come up with your quote. (Quotes are typically sent out two weeks from the initial consult.)
fittings
Several fittings are involved throughout the custom design process. As each design is unique, with some more complicated than others, the amount of fittings may vary. However 3-5 is fairly standard. Your first fitting, the “Mock Up” stage: here is where we flesh out your design, literally carving out and body mapping the fit specifically to your figure and shape. You get to be a part of watching your design unfold before your very eyes, making nuanced decisions along the way.

And just like that, Bibbodi Bobbidy Boo, I make the magic happen… *if only it was that simple* Throughout the process, I often send little updates of how she’s coming to life.
